Yorkshire Lawn & Garden is an independent matching service. We connect homeowners with self-employed local gardeners across Yorkshire. We are not a gardening contractor, we do not employ gardeners, and we do not carry out the work ourselves.
Prices shown on this site (hourly rates, price ranges, worked examples) are indicative guidance based on typical Yorkshire gardening rates. The final price is agreed between you and the gardener directly, after they have assessed the job. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding quote.
Any contract for gardening work is between you and the gardener — not between you and Yorkshire Lawn & Garden. You pay the gardener directly on completion. We do not handle payments, take commission from the job, or act as an intermediary beyond the initial match.
We take reasonable care to match you with a suitable gardener for your postcode and the work you describe, and we ask for proof of public liability insurance and a Waste Carrier’s Licence before any gardener takes jobs through us. However, we are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of the work itself — that is between you and the gardener. If something goes wrong with a job, please raise it with the gardener first. If you can’t resolve it directly, email yorkshirelawn@gmail.com and we will try to help.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is free from errors. Town pages, price guides, and FAQs are offered for general guidance.
You may use this site to request a quote for genuine gardening work at a property in Yorkshire. Please don’t submit false details, scrape the site, or use the form for anything other than requesting a quote.
